Kay's Art Studio Policy

At Kay’s Art Studio, we value our customers and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase or service experience. This policy explains how we handle refunds, returns, and exchanges for artworks, custom commissions, workshop fees, and other studio-related purchases.

1. General Policy

All sales at Kay’s Art Studio are handled with care and transparency. Because our artworks and creative pieces are often handmade or custom-designed, refunds and returns are considered on a case-by-case basis. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before making a purchase or booking.

2. Artwork and Product Purchases
  • Eligibility for Return: You may return ready-made artworks or non-custom items within 7 days of delivery, provided they are in perfect condition and in the original packaging.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom or commissioned artworks cannot be returned or refunded once the creative process has begun. This includes portraits, personalised paintings, or any work designed to your specifications.
  • Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos. We’ll assess the issue and offer a repair, replacement, or partial refund depending on the situation.
  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product was damaged or incorrect.
3. Workshop, Class, and Event Fees
  • Cancellations by Customer: If you cannot attend a scheduled workshop or class, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance. You may choose to reschedule for a later date or receive a 50% refund of your payment.
  • Late Cancellations: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event. However, you may transfer your slot to another participant.
  • Cancellations by the Studio: If Kay’s Art Studio cancels or postpones a class, you will receive a full refund or have the option to attend the next available session.

4. Custom and Commissioned Artworks
For commissioned projects:

  • A non-refundable deposit (usually 50%) is required before work begins.
  • The balance is due upon completion and approval.
  • Once completed and approved, commissioned artworks are not eligible for refunds or alterations, unless the final piece differs significantly from the approved concept.

We encourage open communication throughout the creative process to ensure you are satisfied with the final result.

5. Digital Files and Online Services Digital art files, prints, or design services delivered electronically are non-refundable once sent to the client, due to their downloadable nature.
6. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days after we receive your returned item or confirm eligibility. Refunds will be made through the original method of payment.
